it never fails, i am a little depressed when the christmas lights go down, the music stops playing and the christmas festivities end. but hey, it was a great christmas so i cant complain! we celebrated christmas eve again with hannah & her family. we all went to the christmas eve candlelight service at church then came back to our house & salsaritas catered. its not your typical christmas eve dinner but its fun & we love it! and it was so yummy! then we all exchanged gifts and just got to hang out for the evening. it was a night FULL of laughter. my favorite. christmas morning austin woke us up but was so kind to wait until about 8:30. we all headed into the den together to see what santa had brought! it was a fun morning and i got some great things! christmas morning is so fun here! austins excitement is enough for all of us! plus my parents send us on a scavenger hunt for some of our presents so it is definitely entertaining. i got a couple new patagonias, j.crew rainboots + fleece rainboot socks, some clothes & jewelry from j.crew, more clothes, a purse, sunglasses & some other fun things! i was super excited! we spent the rest of the morning & afternoon just hanging out & watching movies then that evening headed out to my aunts. all in all it was a great christmas & i am thankful.

leading up to christmas i had some fun things to do. my favorite was celebrating christmas with my sweet young life girls! we all met at a japanese steak house for a delish dinner then came back to my house for a gift exchange and decorating gingerbread cookies. i seriously love these girls so much. they constantly make me laugh & i am so thankful for my friendships with them!
and a couple days after christmas i got together when some of my friends for mexican food & game night! it was one of the funniest nights i have had in a LONG time!
this has been a GREAT christmas break so far!!! aaaaand passion is in TWO DAYS!!!!

ReplyDeletei love the laughing pictures! those are always my favorite. i'm always so sad about christmas being over, but this year i did pretty well! haha! it always helps me to have things to look forward too....and you have passion! hope you have a wonderful time! i wish i were with you! :)
